Navigate Around a Career Fair

Career fairs are a great way for college students and recent graduates to be seen and heard by employers. In fact, Spark News covered career fairs a while back telling you about how important and beneficial they were. Just think about it: dozens, or potentially hundreds, of employers are going to be in one place talking about open positions they have. Can you say goldmine?

It is for this reason you need to be on top of your game during a career fair. For one, you need to dress to impress. Rasmussen College created this infographic to help you ace your career fair presence and we found all of these tips to be very useful. At the front of these tips is your attire. If you look good, you feel good and feeling good boosts your confidence. You also want to make sure you do your homework and know what companies are going to be there. That way, you can be prepared and ready to speak to them. If you know what they’re all about before hand, you’ll gain that competitive edge that’s so important for your job search and career.

Take a look at the graphic and make use of their tips next time you attend a career fair.
