Wireless carriers like ATT and Verizon wireless are set to invest $25 billion and $53 billion in their upcoming 4G networks through 2016. According to a study from Deloitte, that could create 371,000 to 771,000 jobs in an ailing economy. The major carriers want to build out their networks as fast as possible to beat foreign competition to the 4G goal. Rapid development and the use of cloud services demand further carrier investment and therefore job creation.
