Rep. Fleming Discusses New Tax Implications on Job Creators on MSNBC

According to Republican Representative John Fleming, also a Tea Party member, if small business owners are met with increased tax rates, then the amount of available jobs will consequently decrease.

During his appearance on MSNBC, Fleming argued that small business owners lose money on reinvesting in more jobs for their company as well as opening more locations when their taxes are raised. Therefore, with greater taxes imposed upon them, they will have less money to spend on expanding their small business which ultimately hurts the overall job market.

Fleming states himself that, as a business owner, if his taxes increased, he would have less money to reinvest in his company and would ultimately have to decrease spending for his business. Perhaps the most intriguing statement made by Fleming was stating that as soon as our country begins to think that success is a vice, we’re done for.
